The Lady Bucks dropped the first set, 25-19, the second 25-20 and got closer with a 26-24 loss in the third set.

“I felt like we set a good tone for the season. Our energy was great, and it got even better each set,”  Head Coach Latisha Clark said. “We are still learning to trust each other on the court, working everyday to get better. We got better each set, and that is all I can ask of them.”

The Lady Bucks are traveling to Abilene for the annual Bev Ball Classic Tournament this weekend, starting Friday, Aug. 15 and going through Saturday, Aug. 16.
