Faith & Testimony
Creating with purpose. Rooted in Christ.
Welcome to the faith-centered side of Kielar Collective—a place for testimony, Christian writing, Scripture reflections, and honest stories about following Jesus. My faith is the foundation beneath the work I create, and this space is an invitation to reflect on God’s truth, grace, and presence in everyday life.
My Testimony: Growing Closer to Jesus Christ
My journey of faith has taught me that there is purpose in everything and that nothing in life is meaningless when we learn to trust in the Lord.
Before my faith became central to my life, I was searching for meaning in places I didn’t realize would lead me toward hurt, pain, loss, and fear. I often leaned on worldly things and habits instead of leaning on the Word of God. Rather than turning to the Lord when I was struggling, I would drink my sorrows away, stray from God, lock myself away, and listen to music that pulled me further from Him. At the time, I didn’t fully understand how much trying to live apart from God would hurt me.
My journey toward Jesus wasn’t a change that happened all at once. It was gradual, shaped by failures, lessons, and learning to get back up when I fell. One major moment along the way was getting a DUI. That experience became part of a turning point in my life as I began to grow out of my old ways and move away from living according to the world. I started to recognize that the path I had been following wasn’t where I wanted my life to go.
As I continued growing, I also found myself drawing closer to Jesus through meeting like-minded people and fellow believers, beginning a relationship with the love of my life, and learning to recognize the everyday miracles around me. Prayer and worship have become part of my daily life, helping me turn toward God rather than relying only on myself or the things of this world.
One of the most important things I’ve come to understand is that Jesus meets me where I am. No matter what I’ve done or how far I’ve strayed, I always have the opportunity to repent and come back to Him. I don’t have to believe that my failures define the rest of my life. I can turn toward the Lord, seek His guidance, and keep moving forward in faith.
My perspective on life has changed as I’ve grown closer to God. I believe that everything has a purpose and that nothing is meaningless. I know that trusting in the Lord is what gives my life true meaning. Trying to build myself up through my own strength, without relying on Him, will only lead me toward failure and pain. I need the Lord’s strength and guidance in my life. I am learning that I cannot build a meaningful life by depending on the world while neglecting the One who gives my life purpose.
I want my faith to be more than something I talk about. I want people to see that I am on fire for God—not just in what I say, but in how I treat others, the choices I make, and the way I glorify His name in all that I do. I want my life to reflect my love for Jesus Christ and my desire to keep growing in Him.
That desire is also part of the heart behind Kielar Collective and its motto: Creating with Purpose. Rooted in Christ. Through journalism, writing, photography, podcasts, and my other creative work, I want to use the gifts God has given me with purpose. I want my work and the way I live to reflect my faith and point back to Him.
I am still on this journey, learning and growing in my relationship with Jesus. My hope is that anyone who reads my testimony understands that no matter where we have been or what we have done, we can turn back to God. He meets us where we are, and we always have the opportunity to repent, seek Him, and walk toward a different path.
I want to keep growing in Christ, trusting in the Lord rather than the world, and living in a way that honors Him. Above all, I want the way I live and the work I create to glorify Jesus Christ.
My life is not about finding purpose apart from God. It is about learning to trust Him, follow Him, and use what He has given me to bring glory to His name.
Stories of Faith
Faith is more than a label; it shapes how we live, what we value, and how we treat others. Here, I share personal reflections and lessons from the journey of trusting Christ, including the questions, struggles, hope, and growth that come with it.
Christian Poetry & Reflections
Writing is one way to put faith into words. This section brings together Christian poems, devotional reflections, and pieces inspired by Scripture—including writing about grace, renewal, and learning to walk with the Lord. Read my poem “Where You Met Me, Lord”, a personal reflection on being met by Jesus in a season of brokenness and finding hope and direction in Him.
Scripture as Our Foundation
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 (KJV)
A Scripture Reflection: Trusting the Lord
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)
This passage speaks to a lesson I am continuing to learn: I cannot find lasting purpose by relying only on myself or on the things of the world. I need to turn to God, trust Him, and acknowledge Him in the way I live. Faith is not just something I say I believe; it is something I want to put into practice in my choices, my relationships, and the work I create. I am still growing, but I want my path to be guided by the Lord rather than by my own understanding alone.
My hope is that the work shared here encourages you to seek Christ, spend time in God’s Word, and use the gifts you’ve been given with purpose. This page will continue to grow as I share more testimony and faith-based work.
